In July 2001 I was in the RSCH having my thyroid removed and Rita was one of my first visitors.I remember clearly her sitting on the end of my bed glancing down at the front page of a Sunday paper.The headlines screamed 'George Harrison has brain tumour'. She quietly said...He's lucky,he has only one and I have three!
it was the first time I really realised my good friend had a losing battle on her hands but goodness,what a brave fighter she was.
She was such a good friend to me and I will never forget her.xxx
